人际功能视阈下《京华烟云》中姚思安话语分析

A discourse Analysis of the Character Yao Sian in Moment in Peking from the perspective of Interpersonal Function

本文基于人际功能的理论框架,对《京华烟云》姚思安的话语中的语气及情态系统进行描述统计分析,考察了语气系统在构建姚思安语用身份时起到的具体作用以及情态系统对该人物性格的刻画。分析发现:1)语气系统构建了姚思安中国哲学的传道者、权威性和专业性长者、局势掌控者和决策者以及姚家大家长等语用身份;2)情态系统塑造了姚思安和善平易、顺应自然、谨慎开明等性格。

Previous studies of Moment in Peking have revolved around its review,religious view of life and so on,and seldom do researchers study the functions of the discourse of the figures.Based on the theoretical framework of Functional Grammar,this paper makes a descriptive statistical research on the mood and modality system of Yao Sian's discourse,a figure in Moment in Peking,and explores the specific functions of mood system in constructing the pragmatic identities of Yao Sian and how the modality system depicts his characters.The paper finds that 1)the mood system has constructed the pragmatic identity of Yao Sian as a preacher of Chinese philosophy,an authoritative and professional senior,a controller and decisionmaker of the current political situation and the leader of Yao's family;2)the modality system depicts Yao as a kind,easygoing,prudent and enlightened man in harmony with nature.
