摘要
教育数据挖掘指通过分析学习者的学习行为记录和归纳学习者的行为特点,以提高教育质量的一种学习分析方法。在大数据时代下,网络课程学习者产生的大规模学习行为记录为教育数据挖掘提供了充足素材。以edX开放数据集为基础,使用数据分析方法,针对平台中本科学历用户获证概率最低的问题,分别从学习目的及兴趣、学习者类型、学习行为特征3个方面进行分析,深入探讨各种学习行为特征之间的相关性以及对学习效果的影响,为在线课堂平台建设者针对不同用户群体优化课程设计、改进个性化学习管理系统提供参考。
Educational data mining refers to a learning and analysis method that summarizes the learners’behavioral characteristics by analyzing learners’learning behavior records to improve the quality of education.In the era of big data,the large-scale learning behav⁃ior records generated by online course learners provide sufficient material for educational data mining.Based on the edX open dataset and using the data analysis method,this paper analyzes the three aspects of learning objectives and interests,learner types and learn⁃ing behavior characteristics for the lowest probability of undergraduate users in the platform.The correlation between learning behavior characteristics and the impact on learning effects provide useful reference and suggestions for online classroom platform builders to opti⁃mize curriculum design for different user groups and improve personalized learning management system.
