翻译工作坊在医学院校英语专业教学中的应用研究

Application of translation workshop in the teaching of English major in medical universities

为研究翻译工作坊在医学院校英语专业教学中的适用性,在一所医科大学英语专业本科三年级学生中采用随机抽取的方式组建对照班与实验班,在对照班采用传统教学模式,在实验班依托医学文本建构翻译项目,采用以学生为主体、以项目为依托的翻译工作坊教学模式。通过两班的前测与后测成绩对比以及对实验班的问卷调查与访谈,本文发现翻译工作坊教学模式有助于激发学生对翻译学习的兴趣,提升其翻译技能。

In order to investigate the workability of translation workshop in the teaching of English major in medical universi-ties,the research established a control class and an experiment class from a random sample of junior students of English major in a medical university.The control class adopts the traditional teaching model while the experiment class adopts the student-centered and project-based translation workshop teaching model.Through a comparison between the pretest and posttest of two classes together with questionnaires and interviews of the experiment class,it is found that the translation workshop teaching model helps to stimulate students’interest in translation studies and improve their translation skills.
