戴翊先生长期从事中国当代文学研究和上海文艺创作理论研究,曾撰写了一系列研究上海文学和文化的专著及论文,对上海新时期以来的小说创作进行过综合分析、考量及系统的考察和论述。由他领衔撰写的《上海文化十五年》分别从文化和文学两方面为上海的城市精神和人文发展留下了许多宝贵的历史资料。他生前一贯秉承现实主义文学传统,倡扬人道主义情怀,强调文学艺术的现实主义精神和文艺创作应有的道德感、责任感、使命感。他着力推崇重新发掘中国传统文化的价值和意义,从历史精神中汲取滋养,强调文学对民族精神的教化和重塑作用。

Mr.Dai Yi has been engaged in the research ofcontemporary Chinese literature and the theory of Shanghai literary creation for a long time.He has written a series of monographs and papers on Shanghai Literature and culture,and made a comprehensive analysis,systematic investigation and discussion on novel writing since the new era in Shanghai.The Fifteen Years of Shanghai Culture,of which he is the chief writer,remains as a main resource for the study on the history of Shanghai’s urban spirit and cultural development.During his lifetime,he always adheres to the tradition of realistic literature,advocating humanitarianism and the realistic spirit of literature and art,emphasizing the sense of morality,responsibility and mission of literary and artistic creation,calling for a rediscovery of the value and significance of Chinese traditional culture by learning from history,and highlighting the role of literature in enlightening and remolding national spirit.
