摘要
The three transcribed versions of the performance-style texts from the repertoires of Pu Lin,Yu Youchun, and Yang Mingkun vary in length, but share a common storyline that revolves around the central character Pi Wu.This paper will examine the characteristics of Pi Wu as presented in Yang’s version of the story, aiming to explore why the contemporary audience effectively accepts the characterisation of Pi Wu and the story.
