A Logical Analysis of“Future Tense in Main Clause and Present Tense in Subordinate Clause”

“主将从现”语法现象并不能适用于所有的状语从句,而只能在条件、时间、让步和地点状语从句中适用。传统研究主要从“时间”这个概念来分析这一语法现象的存在原因,从时间轴层面、主从句之间的逻辑关系层面进行探讨,剖析“主将从现”的深层逻辑,更好地理解这一语法现象。

The grammatical phenomenon of“future tense in main clause and present tense in subordinate clause”cannot be used in all subordinate clauses,but only in the adverbial clauses of condition,time,concession and place.The previous studies mainly analyze the reason of this grammatical phenomenon in terms of the concept of time.In order to help learners better understand this grammatical phenomenon,this paper explores the logical relations existing in the grammatical phenomenon from the aspect of timeline,as well as the logical relation between the main and subordinate clause.
