Reform and Innovation:The Hui Nationality in Chengdu and Liberation of Chengdu

成都解放前夕回族已经开始在中共地下党的领导下采取多种方式进行革命活动,成都解放初期主要以“成都市回民青年联谊会”“成都市回民文化协进会”等社会团体为中心开展爱国进步活动,在支援社会主义建设事业的同时促进了群体自身的发展。

On the eve of liberation,the Hui Muslims in Chengdu had begun to carry out revolutionary activities under the leadership of the underground Communist Party in various ways. In the early period of liberation,patriotic and progressive activities were mainly carried out by social groups such as"Chengdu Hui Youth Association"and"Chengdu Hui Culture Association". While they supported the cause of socialist construction,they also promoted the development of their groups themselves.
