摘要
全球新一代的激光测高卫星ICESat-2(Ice,Cloud and land Elevation Satellite-2)已于2018年9月15日升空,与线性体制激光测高卫星相比,该卫星搭载了先进地形激光测高系统(ATLAS,Advanced Topographic Laser Altimeter System),采用高重频、微脉冲、多波束的光子计数新技术,数据的采样率、覆盖能力及精度均有较大提升。本文就ICESat-2/ATLAS的技术参数、产品分级和数据应用进行了梳理,对我国光子体制激光测高卫星的发展具有一定的借鉴意义。
Ice,Cloud and land Elevation Satellite-2(ICESat-2),a new generation of global laser altimetry satellite,was launched on September 15,2018.Compared with linear laser altimetry satellite,the satellite is equipped with Advanced Topographic Laser Altimeter System(ATLAS),which uses the new photon-counting technology including high repetition frequency,micro-pulse and multi-beams.The satellite has greatly improved the sampling rate,coverage and accuracy of data.In this paper,the technical parameters,product classification and data application of ICESat-2/ATLAS are sorted out sequentially,which can be used for reference in the research of this field in China.
