The fire&gas detection system is the key system to protect personal,equipment and platform.The Safe and reliable fire&gas detection system can activate the order for isolation and firefighting after the early detection of fire and combustible gas leakage accident,reduce the loss of the platform,and ensure the safety of the platform staff.This paper describes the composition and the layout of detection equipment of the fire&gas detection system on the semi-submersible production platform.
