The Similarities and Differences of the Themes of Loneliness in Pedro Baramo and One Hundred Years of Solitude

《佩德罗·巴拉莫》与《百年孤独》同为拉丁美洲文学史上的魔幻现实主义经典作品,两部作品都围绕孤独主题展开。且作者马尔克斯承认自己创作《百年孤独》深受鲁尔福《佩德罗·巴拉莫》的启发,所以二者不免存在很多相同之处。本文基于前人的研究,从呈现技巧、呈现内容以及各自的孤独主题三方面探讨两部作品在呈现孤独主题上有何异同。

Pedro Baramo and One Hundred Years of Solitude are both classical works of magical realism in Latin American literary history.Both works revolve around the theme of solitude.And the author Marquez admitted that his creation of One Hundred Years of Solitude was inspired by Rulford's Pedro Baramo,so there are many similarities between them inevitably.Based on previous studies,this paper explores the similarities and differences between the two works in presenting their respective themes of loneliness from three aspects:presentation techniques,presentation contents and their respective theme of loneliness.
