失落的“高直+横漪”之路--从上海城市核心场域的变迁看老城厢历史地标群的再生

The Lost Path to‘Gothic Verticality+Horizontal Ripples’:Regeneration of the Historic Landmarks of the Old Town in View of the Changing Core Urban Areas of Shanghai

源自城隍庙西园湖心亭场域的“高直+横漪”形态逻辑,及其背后隐含的价值趋向与精神力量,潜在地贯彻了上海的城市地标与核心场域变迁史,这种集体无意识般的动态风貌一致性,连同散布老城厢的众多“海洋系”地标,是这座滨海边城的城市空间自主发育到成熟之境的展现与支撑。文章尝试提出让上海老城厢不同历史时期的城市风貌在同一动态逻辑与精神主题下交互呈现的“历史层理”与“风貌叠映”的理念。并畅想生成以城隍庙湖心亭水域为中心的“风貌涟漪与辐射”区域和自“也是园湖”沿乔家浜故道东流的线性“风貌之河”区域,以完善整座城市的风貌拼图与历史表述,推动老城厢以更生动有机的姿态,融入今日的城市发展更新轨迹。

The morphological logic of the Shanghai Old Town’s historic landmarks and the around core urban area is featured with the urban spatial model of ’Gothic Verticality + Horizontal Ripples’ originated from the Huxin Pavilion area in the West Garden of the City God Temple. The value and spiritual energy that it implies have been generated throughout the historical evolution of Shanghai Old Town. Its urban landscape is a result of collective unconsciousness. Together with the many maritime landmarks scattered within the Old Town, it is the manifestation and support of the urban development of Shanghai. This article attempts to put forward the concepts of ’urban spatial stratification’ and ’landscape collage’ to describe the interactions of urban landscapes from different historical periods of Shanghai Old Town under a coherent morphological logic and metaphysical theme. It also conceptualises a ’stylistically rippling and radiating’ area with the pond area around the Huxin Pavilion of the City God Temple at its centre, and a linear ’style river’ strip starting from the lake of Yeshi Garden and flowing eastward along the past tributary of Qiaojia Creek. The article aims to complete the landscape collage and historical narrative of the entire city and to integrate the narrative of the Old Town into today’s urban development and renewal more vividly and organically.
