摘要
目的探究人舌鳞状细胞癌(TSCC)组织中第10号染色体缺失的磷酸酶及张力蛋白同源基因(PTEN);干扰素基因刺激因子(STING)的表达及其临床意义。方法采用免疫组织化学EnVision法检测65例TSCC和癌旁组织中PTEN、STING蛋白的表达,应用统计学的方法分析PTEN、STING与临床病理参数、总生存期及预后的关系。结果与癌旁组织相比,PTEN在TSCC中表达明显降低,STING表达明显升高,PTEN与STING呈负相关。在TSCC中,PTEN、STING的表达与病理分级、TNM分期和淋巴结转移相关。PTEN、STING表达强度与患者性别和年龄无明显相关性。TSCC组织中PTEN的低表达、STING的高表达与患者的不良预后显著相关,患者术后总生存期明显缩短。结论PTEN低表达、STING高表达的舌鳞癌患者预后不良、生存期短,联合检测PTEN与STING有助于肿瘤进展及患者预后评估。
Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of phosphatase and tension homolog deleted on chromosome ten(PTEN)and stimulator of interferon genes(STING)in human tongue squamous cell carcinoma(TSCC).Methods The expression of PTEN and STING protein in 65 pairs of TSCC and paracancerous tissues was detected by immunohistochemical EnVision method,and the relationships between PTEN,STING and clinicopathological parameters,overall survival(OS)and prognosis were analyzed by statistical methods.Results Compared with the adjacent tissues,the expression of PTEN in TSCC significantly decreased,and the expression of STING significantly increased.PTEN was negatively correlated with STING.In TSCC,the expression of PTEN and STING were correlated with pathological grade,TNM stage and lymph node metastasis.There were no significant correlations between the expression intensity of PTEN,STING and the gender and age of patients.The low expression of PTEN and the high expression of STING in TSCC tissues were significantly associated with poor prognosis and significantly shortened overall survival of patients.ConclusionTSCC patients with low expression of PTEN and high expression of STING have poor prognosis and short survival time.Combined detection of PTEN and STING expression is helpful to evaluate the degree of tumor progression and patient prognosis.
