日本学者内田诚一在王维研究上作出了重要贡献。一方面他承袭前辈小林太市郎、入谷仙介、伊藤正文“文献学研究”的研究方式,以一手资料为依据,通过按照时间纵轴研究的方式,辅以严密的逻辑推理论证自己的观点。另一方面他又开拓了王维研究的新局面,在王维佛教思想的探研和研究方式的探索上进行了全面发展,通过维摩诘的思想反观王维的一生,将西方研究方法融解于中国古典文化研究中,又体现了极大的创造性,通过实地调研取证,为王维研究注入了活力。

Uchida Seiichi,a Japanese scholar,has made an important contribution to the study on Wang Wei.On the one hand,he inherits the research method of"philology research"of his predecessors,such as Kobayashi Ooichirou,Iriya Sensuke,Itou Masafumi.Based on the first-hand data,he demonstrates his own point of view through the way of research according to the vertical axis of time,supplemented by strict logical reasoning.On the other hand,he opened up a new situation to study on Wang Wei,and made an all-round development in the exploration of Wang Wei's Buddhist thought and research methods.Through Vimalakirti's thought,he reflected Wang Wei's life and integrated Western research methods into the study of Chinese classical culture,which reflected great creativity.Through on-the-spot investigation and evidence collection,he injected vitality into the study on Wang Wei.
