随着网络时代的到来,信息技术已经逐渐被应用到越来越多的领域,改变了人们的工作方式和思维方式。从当前高校的档案管理和档案建设工作来看,信息化手段的支持为高校档案管理提供了丰富的载体、拓展了档案管理空间、增添了工作活力、提供了更加广阔的平台。但是带来诸多机遇的同时,也让高校档案建设面临着更大的挑战。随着信息化的发展,高校档案建设的权威性遭到了削弱,信息化手段的出现对传统档案管理造成了严重冲击,也对工作人员提出了更高的要求,但是从现实情况来看,大多数高校的档案管理工作对信息化建设并不重视。因此,为了顺应高校档案建设信息化发展潮流,从容应对挑战,高校应当转变工作观念、完善信息设备建设、提升工作管理信息化水平、并且创新高校档案信息化建设路径。
