The characteristics of landfill leachate and the evaporation process of landfill leachate were introduced,and the current experimental situation of scale inhibitor for landfill leachate was expounded.At the same time,according to the actual conditions,a kind of high temperature scale inhibitor completely suitable for the evaporation process of landfill leachate was developed through screening evaluation,modification experiment and compounding experiment.The high temperature scale inhibitor has been proved to be a qualified product by field test.It can effectively reduce equipment scaling,improve equipment operating efficiency,and ensure the safe operation of equipments.
