基于复杂适应体系论(CAS)的大学生二语词汇产出性知识发展模型研究

Research on the Development Model of the Second Language Acquisition/L2 Learners’Productive Vocabulary Knowledge in the View of CAS

文章从复杂适应性体系论(Language as a Complex Adaptive System,以下简称CAS)语言观出发,采用共时与历时混合研究范式,探索大学生学术词汇产出性知识的发展模型,从习得、认知加工、学习策略、心理词汇存储结构、情感动机、语言使用等多方面潜在变量的协变关系中发现问题,为大学英语素质化、能力化教改提供有效可行的理论启示。CAS为学者们研究语言提供了新的理论框架,在这一背景下尝试探讨其对二语习得研究方法的启示。

Approaching from the language as a complex adaptive system,at the outset,this paper explores the development model of the productive academic vocabulary knowledge of college students by using the hybrid paradigm of synchronic and diachronic studies.Then,it finds problems in the covariance relationship of potential variables such as learning,cognitive processing,learning strategy,psychological vocabulary storage structure,emotional motivation and language use,etc.,hence,it provides effective and feasible theoretical enlightenment and framework for language researchers in the study of the quality improvement and the competence enhancement in English teaching reform.Finally,the successful application of CAS in L2 Learners’productive vocabulary knowledge learning as well as its future research prospect are presented,aiming to enrich its studies for future reference in SLA studies.
