浅议高职基础英语和行业英语的融合与衔接

On the Integration and Convergence of Vocational Basic English and ESP

高职英语教学改革已经进行多年,但收效甚微。主要问题就在于高职基础英语和行业英语如何协调。高职院校的职业特性决定了高职英语教学的方向和目标。笔者结合自己院校专业特点,分析了高职基础英语教学的现状,提出将高职基础英语与行业英语融合的想法。并从教学模式、教材建设、师资培训和评价体系等各方面,探讨了将高职基础英语与行业英语融合衔接的可能性。为高职院校英语教学深入改革提出了新的思路。

English teaching reform in vocational colleges has been carried out for many years,but the effect is very little.The main problem lies in how to coordinate Basic English and ESP.The characteristics of vocational colleges determine the direction and goal of English teaching in vocational colleges.The author analyzes the current situation of Basic English teaching in vocational colleges and puts forward the idea of integrating Basic English with ESP.From the aspects of teaching mode,teaching material construction.teacher training and evaluation system,this paper discusses the possibility of integrating vocational Basic English with ESP.It puts forward new ideas for the in-depth reform of English teaching in vocational colleges.
