The implementation of the new curriculum reform puts forward new requirements for the teaching of various subjects.In order to adapt to the new teaching goals and standards,many schools are actively promoting teaching reforms.Although my country's high school English teaching reform has achieved certain results at this stage,it is still facing a huge dilemma.It is necessary to continuously discover and solve problems to get out of the dilemma and help the cultivation of high-quality comprehensive English talents.In high school education,English as a major subject has encountered many difficulties in the process of teaching reform.This article will start from this aspect and propose effective countermeasures for specific problems,hoping to help improve the level of high school English teaching.
