Application of Media Convergence to Innovate the United Front Work in Higher Education

媒体融合是信息社会发展的必然趋势,也是推进高校统战工作科学化、民主化进程的重要举措。媒体融合给高校统战工作带来新机遇,也带来新挑战。高校统战部门应当充分利用传统媒体和新媒体各自的优势,不断提高统战工作者的媒介素养,建立起符合统战工作需要的媒体平台,实现校园媒体组织与管理、内容与渠道、统战工作队伍等方面的融合,创新工作模式,开创高校统战工作新局面。

Media convergence,as an inevitable trend in the social development,is an essential measure to enhance the scientific and democratic process of the United Front Work in colleges and universities.Media convergence brings new opportunities as well as challenges The United Front departments in higher education should adopt following measures including to develop the advantages of traditional media and new media respectively;to enhance the media literacy of this area;and to establish a media platform that meets the requirements of United Front work.Thus it can realize the integration of campus media organization and management,combination of content and channel,unification of United Front Work Team and it will certainly innovate the mode of work to create a new situation of United Front Work.
