本文主要对在林业资源管理过程中发挥重要作用的地理信息系统进行研究,先对地理信息系统的各项优势特性进行了概括描述,然后着重介绍了地理信息系统的研制和开发过程,主要包括数据库的建立和各个系统功能模块的设计,最后介绍了地理信息系统在林业资源管理工作中起到的作用。地理信息系统不仅能够解决林业管理长期存在的管理不便问题,更能够在及时合理防控森林火灾的发生,有效减少林业资源的损毁,提升林业资源管理部门的工作效率。

This article is mainly to play an important role in the process of forestry resources management geographic informa⁃tion system is studied,first the advantage characteristics of geographic information system has carried on the summary descrip⁃tion,then emphatically introduces the geographic information system development and the development process,including the establishment of the database and the system function module design,and finally introduces the geographic information system in forestry resources management plays a role.Geographic information system can not only solve the long-term inconvenience of forestry management,but also prevent and control the occurrence of forest fire in a timely and reasonable manner,effectively reduce the damage of forestry resources,and improve the work efficiency of forestry resources management departments.
