On October 26,the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China announced the appointment of Ambassador Xu Bu as the President of China Institute of International Studies(CIIS).Zheng Zeguang,Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs,attended the appointment ceremony and expressed his hope for Ambassador Xu to unite the CIIS leadership and staff under the guidance of the Foreign Ministry and elevate the top-level think tank to a new height.
