摘要
Southeast Asia has always been an important part of US geopolitical strategy and has served as a bridgehead in forging its Asia-Pacific strategy.When Donald Trump first came to power,he did not have an overall Asia-Pacific strategy or a specified Southeast Asia policy,and was therefore criticized by US strategic circles.After nearly two years of adjustments,the Trump administration finally decided to replace its“Asia-Pacific”strategy with the“Indo-Pacific”strategy in order to strengthen its Southeast Asia policy.
