我国新闻发布类国防话语诉诸道理修辞策略运用与修辞认同研究

A Study of the Use of Rhetorical Rational Appeals and Identification in the National Defense Discourse of Press Conference

新闻发布类国防话语是和平时期最重要的国防话语形态之一。研究基于语料库从西方修辞学的视角分析我国国防部新闻发布会话语诉诸道理修辞策略的运用特征,阐明国防机构修辞者如何针对不同话题和论辩修辞主体,运用适切修辞策略,通过“肯定我方、团结友方、否定反方”的三元修辞说服模式并遵循“有理、有利、有节”的策略原则,实现同情认同和对立认同的修辞目标。研究也进一步阐明了修辞之于方兴未艾的国防话语研究的关联和成效以及基于语料库的实证修辞学研究的可行性。

The national defense discourse of press conference is one of the most important of the discursive type.This corpusbased study examines from the rhetorical perspective the use of rhetorical rational appeals in the discourse of press conference of Chinese Ministry of Defense(MOD),and elaborates on how the institutional rhetor,by catering to different types of topics and argumentative and rhetorical agents,employs fitting rhetorical strategies and a persuasive trichotomy of “Emphasize us,unite friends,deemphasize opponents”by following the discursive guideline of“on just ground,to our advantage and with restraint”to achieve identification by sympathy and identification by antithesis.It also further demonstrates the importance of rhetoric to defense discourse studies and the feasibility of corpus-based empirical rhetorical research.
