基于卫星跟踪的红脚隼春季迁徙及家域研究初报

Spring Migration and Home Range of Amur Falcon(Falco amurensis)Documented by Satellite Tracking

2018年4—7月,通过卫星跟踪技术和实地监测对过境贵阳的红脚隼(Falco amurensis)进行了迁徙和家域研究。结果表明:(1)贵阳地区是红脚隼春季迁徙途中的重要停歇地,过境日期为4月下旬至5月中旬;(2)跟踪的红脚隼(1只,编号:6412)于4月26日离开贵阳向东北方向迁徙,穿越重庆东部、湖北和河南西部,最后到达繁殖地——河北省邯郸市北榆林村,迁徙距离1420 km,用时7 d,日均迁徙距离为202.86 km/d;(3)红脚隼日间迁徙,晚间休息,迁徙前期选择在山地、丘陵地带的森林中夜栖,后期进入平原后则在人工林夜栖;(4)红脚隼迁徙时的平均飞行速度为32.19 km/h,最快为48.15 km/h,最慢为18.52 km/h;(5)红脚隼夏季家域面积为54.85 km2,核心活动区面积为2.11 km2。本研究为红脚隼的保护和管理提供了基础数据。

From April to July 2018,we used satellite tracking and field monitoring to study the migration and home range of Amur falcon(Falco amurensis)passing through Guiyang,Guizhou,China.The results showed that;(1)Guiyang city was an important stopover site for spring migration of Amur falcon.The passing date was from late April to mid-May;(2)The tagged Amur falcon(Id:6412)left Guiyang on April 26 and migrated northeast,passing through eastern Chongqing Municipality,western Hubei and Henan Provinces,and finally reached its breeding ground at Beiyulin village,Handan city,Hebei Province.The migration journey took 7 days and covered 1,420 km with an average daily migration distance of 202.86 km;(3)The tagged Amur falcon migrated during the day and rested at night.In the early stage of migration,the bird roosted in forests of the mountainous and hilly regions.In the later stage of migration,the bird roosted in plantation forest when entering the lower mainland;(4)The average ground speed of the tagged Amur falcon was 32.19 km/h(Range:18.52-48.15 km/h);(5)The home range of the tagged Amur falcon in summer was 54.85 km2 and the core area was 2.11 km2.Our study objective was to provide basic data for protection and management of Amur falcons.
