A Review of the Study of the Premier's Yamen Since the New Century

洋务运动时期成立的总理衙门是中国外交近代化的重要标志,对晚清历史产生了重大影响。新世纪以来,随着史学界研究范式的转变,总理衙门相关研究越来越受到关注,学者们围绕总理衙门的建立和发展、相关制度与人物、所承办的相关事务,以及地位与影响等方面进行了深入探讨,取得了一系列研究成果。后续研究中,学界应组织编纂系统专著、加强个体人物研究等,以拓展研究深度与广度。

Established during the Westermnization Movement,the Premier's Yamen was an important symbol of China's diplomatic modemization with a great impact on the history of the late Qing Dynasty.Since the new century,with the transformation of the research paradigm in historiography,the Premier's Yamen has attracted more and more attention from the academic circles.Through in-depth discussions on the establishment,development,relevant systems and figures,affairs undertaken and its evaluation and influence,,the history scholars made a series of achievements.In the follow-up research,scholars should be organized to compile systematic monographs and promote the study of individual characters in order to expand the depth and breadth of the research.
