中国边疆学术源远流长,近代以来历经三次边疆研究高潮。民国以来,不少学人致力于边疆研究的学科建设,持续呼吁构筑中国边疆学,形成了多种学科建构话语。中国边疆研究的发展历程及其间学科构筑的实践,贯穿了"问题"与"主义"之变奏。在百家争鸣的当下应在保持各自思考的基础上逐步寻求会通。

China’s borderland studies has a long history and has experienced three climaxes since modern times.From the Republic of China onward,many scholars have devoted themselves to the construction of borderland studies and have continued to call for the building-up of the discipline,which in turn has formed a multi-disciplinary discourse.The development process of borderland studies and the practice of disciplinary construction run through various changes of"problems"and"ideologies".In the context of"contention of a hundred schools of thought",different schools should gradually seek common view while maintaining their own ideas.
