The Land of My Country and I:A Lecture in the Launch of Writer-in-Residence at Wuhan University

新冠疫情期间的所见所闻,让我对中国古典诗词产生了新的理解,这不仅充实了我的生命,也帮助我完成了《诗来见我》的创作。通过回顾创作《捆绑上天堂》等长篇小说以来的人生经历,我借此表达了对文学生活的推崇,也反思了"非虚构"和"散文"等流行概念,提出要捍卫有"我"的写作和传统。受到中岛敦《山月记》的启发,我希望进一步发掘中国传统资源,写出现代中国人的典型面貌,在文学创作中发出中国人自己的声音。

What happened during the covid-19 pandemic made I generate a new understanding of Chinese classical poetry,which not only enriched my life,but also helped me to finish the writing of Poetry Comes to See Me.By reviewing his experience of life after writing Bound into Heaven,Li Xiuwen expresses his admiration for literary life,criticizes popular concepts such as"non-fiction"and"prose",and proposes to defend the writing and tradition on"I".Inspired by Atsushi Nakajima’s novel Sangetsuki,I hope to further explore cultural resources from Chinese tradition,write typical characters in contemporary China,and deliver the voice of Chinese through literary creation.
