Tangut script was mainly practical and widely used.Many social documents and Buddhist scriptures were written in Tangut cursive script.The direct reason for the emergence of cursive script in Tangut was to write quickly and rearrange the strokes in a concise and shorthand style,breaking the flat and balanced structure of the regular characters and becoming an independent font.The formation and development of Tangut cursive script was closely related to its economic and cultural foundation,the requirement of social development and its own complicated factors.
