摘要
王光祈是我国卓越的音乐理论家,他在学术生涯当中进行了多项有关中西音乐的专题性研究,其中几部关于“歌剧”的著作也受到了学界的广泛重视,但是由于他没有准确把握歌剧与戏曲在本质上的区别,导致在其博士论文中错误地将中国的戏曲视为歌剧进行了论述。虽然王光祈的歌剧观点存在一些观念上的错误,但他的歌剧文献仍然填补了当时我国在这一领域的研究空白,对于国内歌剧体裁的发展也具有启发性的意义。
Wang Guangqi,an acclaimed composer of China,had undertaken many comparative researches in Chinese and western music.His several works on opera had drawn broad attention in academic circle.But in his doctoral dissertation,he expounded on the wrong assumption that Chinese opera was the same as western opera due to his lack of clarification of the difference between the two operas.Despite this,his essays on opera are still of significance for the development of Chinese opera styles.
