The Development and Changes of Wuzhou Branch Office of China Botanic Oil Factory

中国植物油料厂梧州办事处始建于全面抗战初期,鼎盛发展于战后三年,是一个以桐油出口为主、兼营其他土产运销业务的区域性贸易分支机构。抗战结束后,中国植物油料厂为求继续拓展西南地区的桐油业务、促进国内桐油及土产外销外运,决定在地理位置优越、水陆交通便利且有一定工业基础的梧州市重设办事处,以督导相关业务的开展。重建以后,梧州办事处除完成基本的收购、外销与内销业务之外,还肩负着沟通粤、港、桂与内地各省桐油业务的重要作用,极大地促进了西南地区桐油及土特产的销售。

Wuzhou Branch Office of China Botanic Oil Factory was founded in early anti-Japanese war and developed rapidly after the war,and it was a branch company that mainly exported tung oil and other local products.After the war,the head office of China Botanic Oil Factory decided to expand the tung oil business in the southwest region Therefore they rebuilt the branch company in Wuzhou,because it had excellent geographical location,convenient transportation and good industrial foundation.After its rebuilding,Wuzhou Branch Office had three main business,including acquisition,export,and domestic sales.Besides,it played an important role in the tung oil business between overseas and mainland,which greatly promoted the merchandise sales.
