Objective The diagnostic efficacies of three imaging techniques of CT,MRI and SPECT/CT for bone metastasis of prostate cancer(PCa)are analyzed comparatively. Methods A total of 77 patients with pathologically diagnosed prostate cancer were collected and examined with SPECT/CT,MRI and CT imaging techniques, and the imaging findings were analyzed combined with clinical information. Results By analysis of various imaging findings of 77 patients with prostate cancer combined with clinical data,38 cases were diagnosed as bone metastases. All 77 patients received SPECT/CT whole-body bone scan;13 patients received the pelvic CT examination and 69 patients received pelvic MRI examination during the same period.Among 13 patients who received CT examination during the same period,SPECT/CT examination diagnosed bone metastasis in 6 patients,CT examination diagnosed bone metastases in 5 patients, and 6 cases were confirmed to have bone metastases finally.Among 69 patients received pelvic MRI examination during the same period,SPECT/CT examination diagnosed bone metastasis in 35 cases,MRI examination diagnosed bone metastases in 34 cases,and,finally,35 cases were confirmed to have bone metastases. Conclusion SPECT/CT imaging technology has high sensitivity, and MRI imaging has high specificity. The two imaging technologies have complementary advantages.
