This paper introduces the general situation of torpedo tank in Bayi Steel.Aiming at the iron leakage accident of No.27 torpedo tank,through field investigation,inspection of operation process data monitoring records,physical and chemical detection of lining ASC carbon brick and comparison analysis of chemical composition of slagging agent,the root cause of iron leakage of No.27 torpedo tank is found out,and improvement measures are formulated to ensure safe and stable operation of torpedo tank.
