摘要
通过研究美国各州高等教育发展水平,结合美国大学地理分布,从美国政府公布的2016-2019年统计数据中选取14个变量进行分析。利用因子分析,建立美国各州高校教育发展水平综合评估体系,发现美国California、Texas、NewYork和Illinois等州高等教育水平处于美国前列,而North Dakota、Rhode Island和Vermont相对靠后。通过分析各州经济社会条件,探析美国各州产业经济状况与各州教育水平关系密切。通过研究各州主要产业和有影响力高校的优势学科匹配程度,结合各州高等教育发展水平,研究高校与州产业的促进关系,以及院校的人才培养和技术创新对当地产业发展和革新的促进作用。
As a pioneer in Higher Education Popularization,American has a competitive educational industry all over the world.This paper studies the level of higher education in United States.The geographical distribution of American universities taken into consideration,14 variables are selected from the statistical data published by the U.S.government in 2016-2019.Through the factor analysis,this paper establishes the educational development level evaluation model of American States.It is found that California,Texas,New York and Illinois take the lead in respect of higher education level,while North Dakota,Rhode Island and Vermont are relatively backward.Analyzing the economic and social conditions of each state,this paper points out the close relationship among the industrial economic,social development and the educational level of each state.Researching the matching degree of dominant disciplines in influential universities and major industrial categories,combined with the level of higher education in each state,this paper summarizes the relationship between universities and state industries--the universities rely on local state industries;the intellectual resources and technological innovation in universities are beneficial to local industries.
