楚怡工业学校创办者、初期办学思想、办学特色回溯与探析

Recalling and Exploring of the Founder, School-running Philosophy and Charateristics of the Early Period of Chuyi Industry School

文章简要回溯了楚怡工业学校从1910年开学到1952年下半年42年间的办学历程,并对楚怡工业学校初期的办学思想、办学特色进行了探析。创办者陈润霖是一位以教育为己任的爱国教育家,怀着工业救国的办学理想,确立了"从干中学,从学中干"的办学思想,"自动、自学、自治"的三自精神,具有开创性意义。学校注重实习课课程的设置与实施,根据社会迫切需要设置专业,注重培养学生强健的体魄,因而培养的学生能力强、品格正,为社会发展做出了时代贡献。

This paper briefly looks back on the 42-year history of Chuyi Industry School from the first year of 1910 to the latter half of 1952, and explores the school-running philosophy and Charateristics of the early period of Chuyi Industry School.Chen Runlin, the founder, is a patriotic educator, whose life mission is education and whose school-running goal is saving country by industry. His school-running philosophy of Learning from Practice and Practicing from Learning, and Three-self Spirit of Automation, Self-study,and Self-governance are pioneering. The school put emphasis on the curriculum provision and implementation, set up majors according to great demand from the society,and focused on cultivating students’ strong physique,therefore, students cultivated in this school have great abilities and good character and morals,and have made epochal contribution to the society.
