英国是高等教育最发达的国家之一,为保证其高等教育质量,英国政府采取了一系列措施逐步完善高等教育评估体系,其中英国高等教育质量保障局QAA在保障高等教育质量方面起到了关键作用。通过对QAA的职能、评估内容和程序以及评估特点进行分析,探讨其对我国高等教育质量评估的启示。

A series of measures have been taken by British government to improve her higher education evaluation system to guarantee the quality of higher education of Great Britain,one of the most advanced in the world,of which QAA(Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education)plays a critical role in the process.In the paper below,an analysis was made of the institute's roles,evaluation procedures and points as well as its characteristics to seek the enlightenments upon China's higher education quality assessment.
