Urban Youth’s Acquisition for Housing Resources:Ascribed and Achieved Factors

基于住房获得的先赋性与后致性,探讨其对城市青年获得住房资源的影响及作用力变化。研究发现,城市青年住房资源获得受到“先赋因素”与“后致因素”的双重影响,两类因素的作用力随着世代变迁而发生变化,以代际累积优势为代表的“先赋因素”虽在青年住房资源获得中占据主导影响地位,但以个人人力资本(受教育程度)为代表的“后致因素”对青年住房资源获得的正向积极作用正不断增长。

Based on the analysis of ascribed and achieved perspectives,this paper explores the factors that influence urban youth’s access to housing resources and the force changes of these factors.According to the research results,urban youth’s acquisition for housing resources is influenced by the dual effects of ascribed and achieved factors.The influence of these two factors changes from generation to generation:although the ascribed factors represented by the intergenerational accumulation advantage play a dominant role in the urban youth’s acquisition for housing resources,the achieved factors represented by the individual human resources(education level)have a growing positive effect on the urban youth’s acquisition for housing resources.
