文心史意之异趣: 章学诚删订曾巩《南齐书目录序》发微

On Zhang Xuecheng s Revision of NanqishuMuluXu Wrritten by Zeng Gong

章学诚删订曾巩《南齐书目录序》,彰显出两位相距近八百年的古文家、史学理论家在文心、史意方面的差异。曾巩为文宗法韩愈;而章氏则崇尚“清真”之道,主张为文应无意工辞、气平情正,有受柳宗元影响的痕迹。曾巩坚持其良史观,基本否定两汉以来之史学;章学诚则以“一家之言”的标准重新审视中国史学之演进历程,并注入“待其人而后行”之理念,体现出更为明确的现实关怀。

This paper examines Zhang Xuecheng s revision of NanqishuMuluXu wrritten by Zeng Gong.Zhang s revision shows the differences between him and Zeng in the field of literary idea and historical thought.Zeng Gong is an advocate of the style of Han Yu,while Zhang Xuecheng,who thinks he should be calm when writing,is under the influence of Liu Zongyuan.Besides,they also have different ideas about what the history of Chinese hisotoriography is.Compared with Zeng,Zhang has more realistic solicitude.
