摘要 提出了一种基于边缘计算的云游戏服务质量增强算法,旨在减少网络传输响应延迟和提高可靠性,扩大云游戏服务范围.该方法使用边缘服务器为玩家渲染游戏,云端负责计算游戏状态和发送更新信息给边缘服务器.首先,设计区域划分算法来确定集群部署位置,以均衡负载;第二,研究集群部署位置选择算法,在满足差异化游戏需求基础上尽可能节约资源;第三,设计服务器分配算法,尽可能将相关性高的玩家分配到同一台服务器上,以减少交互所致延迟;最后,考虑到游戏动态的周期性变化,提出了服务器动态部署策略来动态开启服务器,提升服务器的可靠性并节约成本.仿真结果证明提出的方法能够减少响应延迟18~20 ms,节约带宽和提高服务覆盖率. An edge-computing-based service-quality enhancement is proposed for cloud gaming.The purpose is to reduce the network transmission delay and expand the scope of cloud game services.Edge servers are responsible for game rendering,and the cloud is responsible for calculating the game state and sending update information to the edge server.First,an area partition algorithm is designed to determine the cluster deployment location to balance the load.Second,a cluster deployment location selection algorithm is investigated to save resources as much as possible while satisfying differentiated game requirements.Third,a server allocation design algorithm is developed to allocate highly relevant players to the same server as much as possible to reduce the delay in interaction.Finally,considering the periodic changes of the game dynamics,a server dynamic deployment strategy is proposed to dynamically turn on the server,which improves the reliability of the server and saves costs.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed mechanism can reduce response delay by 18~20 ms,save bandwidth consumption and improve service coverage.
