The unity of criticality and constructiveness is the spiritual essence of Marx’s ideological theory.Lenin accurately grasped this spiritual essence.By criticizing all kinds of erroneous thoughts,he defended the monistic histori⁃cal view of dialectical materialism which Marx created,and used this scientific historical view to expound the construc⁃tion of socialist ideology,thus completely overthrowing the erroneous understanding of Marx’s only critical but not con⁃structive ideology.This is Lenin’s important contribution to the theory of Marxist ideology.In the new era,it is of great guiding significance for us to correctly explain and reaffirm Lenin’s important contribution,so as to fully under⁃stand the theory of Marxist ideology,more consciously implement the basic system of guiding position of Marxism in the field of ideology,and promote the construction of socialist ideology.
