利用白炭黑与活性炭微波合成粉体碳化硅的研究 被引量:1

摘要 碳化硅是一种重要材料,可应用于功能陶瓷、耐火材料、磨料和冶金原料等领域。本文开展了利用白炭黑和活性炭微波合成粉体碳化硅的研究。主要优化了碳硅比、保温时间和温度等对碳化硅合成有潜在影响的工艺条件。实验结果表明,在最佳工艺条件下,二氧化硅转变为碳化硅的硅转化率为52.61%。此外还用X射线衍射(XRD)和扫描电子显微镜(SEM)对合成的碳化硅进行了表征,结果表明通过微波合成的碳化硅为β相碳化硅晶须。由此表明,微波法合成碳化硅与传统合成法相比,有着产物纯度高、合成时间短、合成温度低等优势。 Silicon carbide(SiC)is an important material which can be used in functional ceramics,refractories,abrasives,and metallurgical raw materials fields.In this work,the feasibility on silicon carbide powder synthesis by microwave with silicon aerogel and activated carbon was studied.Various parameters,including carbon to silicon ratio,holding time and temperature,which may potentially influence synthesis of silicon carbide,were optimized.The results show that 52.61% of silicon was converted to silicon carbide under the optimized conditions.The synthesized SiC was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and scan electrode microscope(SEM),and the results show thatβsilicon carbide crystal whisker can be synthesized.In comparison with traditional methods,the method of microwave synthesis of silicon carbide can lower synthesis temperature,reduce holding time,and improve the purity of theβsilicon carbide crystal whisker products.
