John Henrich Pestallozzi was the first educator in the history of western education who put the thought of combining education with productive labor into practice.The thought of combining education with labor opens a new situation for the dilemma of labor education in all countries.In this paper,by Pestallozzi’s labor education practice and thoughts to the research and exploration.Pei’s labor education thought and its enlightenment are summarized into the theory of labor educational value,the theory of labor educational process and the theory of labor educational security.And the essence of Pei’s labor education thought is explored,so as to provide beneficial reference and guidance for our country to comprehensively strengthen labor education in colleges and primary schools in the new era.
