Survey of family clustering of COVID-19 in Ding’an county

目的对海南省定安县一起新型冠状病毒肺炎(新冠肺炎)聚集性疫情开展流行病学调查,查找可能的感染来源和密切接触者,根据流行病学调查结果提出防控建议。方法依照《新型冠状病毒感染肺炎防控方案(第三版)》要求,开展现场流行病学调查,通过查阅病历、询问病例及其家属和接诊医生等方式调查病例的基本情况、发病与就诊、暴露史和危险因素、实验室检测和密切接触者等信息。结果本次疫情共报告3例病例,同属一个家庭,发病前14 d内均有武汉居住史,临床表现主要有肺炎影像学特征、发热、咳嗽、头痛和乏力等,新冠肺炎病毒核酸检测均为阳性,为一起武汉输入家庭聚集性新冠肺炎疫情;其中首例病例在武汉与病例密切接触,另2例病例在武汉未与病例密切接触,但在定安期间与首例病例共同生活。结论家庭成员间自我防护意识不强,易引起家庭聚集性疫情;应加强宣传教育,避免家庭聚集性疫情的发生和传播。

Objective To carry out an epidemiological survey of family clustering of COVID-19 in Ding’an county of Hainan province,find out the possible infection sources and close contacts,and put forward suggestions for prevention and control according to the results of epidemiological survey.Methods In accordence with the requirements of Prevention and Control Plan of COVID-19(3 rd edition),the field epidemiological survey was carried out to investigate the cases information,including basic situations,illness onset and visiting doctors,exposure history and risk factors,laboratory tests and close contacts,by ways of referring the medical records,enquiring the patients and their family members and the doctors.Results There were 3 cases reported from a same family.All cases had a history of living in Wuhan within 14 days before onset of the disease.The clinical manifestations mainly included imaging features of pneumonia,fever,cough,headache,fatigue,etc.,and the test results of nucleic acid of novel coronavirus were positive.So,this epidemic was a family clustering of COVID-19 imported from Wuhan.The first case had the history of close contact with COVID-19 case in Wuhan,the other two cases didn’t contact the COVID-19 cases closely in Wuhan,but they lived together with the first case in Ding’an.Conclusions The family clustering epidemic results from the lack of self-protection consciousness of the family members.The publicity and education should be strengthened to avoid the occurrence and spread of family clustering epidemic.
