新密古戏台考

A Research of Ancient Stages in Xinmi County

作为“豫剧之乡”,新密历史上戏曲活动兴盛,演剧习俗以敬老君爷戏和古庙会戏为主,场面盛大。演戏多,戏曲班社多,演出场所自然多。戏台星罗棋布,最常见是戏台与山门相结合的山门式戏台,下有可过人的拱形门洞。截至20世纪50年代,全县尚存古戏台52座,今据笔者实地考察,仅寻得5座可考戏台,其中3座在已发表的论著中有记载,青龙庙戏台与玉仙行宫戏台未见相关考证。

As the“hometown of Henan Opera”,Xinmi has a flourishing history of opera activities with the main purpose to show respect to Supreme Lord Laozi during the temple fairs.There are a variety of performanc⁃es,troupes,and stages in the county.The most common stage is a combined building with a stage above and an arch-shaped gate below,under which the audience can go through.Up to the 1950s,there were still 52 ancient stages in the county.Nowadays,only 5 stages can be found.among which 3 stages have been recorded in the published works.
