《宁化县志》是明季福建汀州府文坛领袖李世熊生平最重要、水平最高的史学著作,在中国方志史上有着重要地位,被誉为天下名志。在修纂《宁化县志》的过程中,李世熊注入了史学经世的思想,《宁化县志》志序便充分体现了这一思想。研究李世熊的史学经世思想,对《宁化县志》的研究有一定的意义。

Ninghua County Annals is the most important and highest-level historiography work of Li Shixiong,the leading figure of the literary world of Tingzhou Prefecture,Fujian Province in the late Ming Dynasty.Known as a famous chronicle,it occupies an important position in the history of local records of China.In the process of compiling Ninghua County Annals,Li Shixiong infused the thought of historiography and statecraft,which was fully reflected in the preface to the book.The discussion of Li Shixiong’s thought of historiography and statecraft is of certain significance to the study of Ninghua County Annals.
