Professor GUO Weifeng's Experience in Diagnosing and Treating Vertigo

病机为疾病之机要和关键,临床诊治当“谨守病机”。眩晕作为一个临床主诉,可由多种疾病所引起,病理属性虽有虚实之别,但具有阳亢风动之共同病机,而各种类型疾病引起的眩晕又有其独特病机。因此,主张依据不同疾病眩晕的病机特征进行论治,即审证求机、病证结合,可为诊治眩晕提供一种新思路。

Pathogenesis is the key to a disease,which should be faithfully followed in clinical diagnosis and treatment of a disease.Vertigo,as a clinical complaint,can be caused by many diseases.Although there are differences between the virtual and the real pathological attributes,yang hyperactivity and wind formation is the common pathogenesis of vertigo.Also,vertigo caused by different diseases has its unique pathogenesis,therefore it is advocated that pathogenesis based on syndrome differentiation,as well as the combination of disease and syndrome should be applied in diagnosing and treating the disease,which provide a new thought for the diagnosis and treatment of vertigo.
