Art Deco is an Art Deco style that was widely used in architecture and Art works between 1910 and 1930.It was born in France,quickly spread to Europe and the United States,and spread around the world.The Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum(Former Prince Asaka Residence)is an outstanding work in the prevailing period of Art Deco style.Although there are many cases of historical buildings being transformed into Art galleries,no significant changes have been made to its interior.A valuable historic structure that accurately embodies the Art Deco style and provides a glimpse of receptivity to other cultures that flourished in Tokyo in the early Showa period.Through the analysis of Art Deco decoration techniques in space,the practical significance of Art Deco Art style for space design is further considered.
