Fengxiang clay sculpture is one of the most distinctive folk-art works.They are diverse in themes,simple and vigorous in shape,exaggerated in figure,complex and full of changes in patterns,sharp contrasts in colors,and possess unique artistic beauty.This thesis explores the color characteristics and cultural connotations of Fengxiang clay sculpture via the research of their patterns.
