摘要
应用变分法研究了囚禁在浅阱中双组份玻色爱因斯坦凝聚体激发态的稳定性.结果显示:凝聚体之间的相互作用系数对其稳定性具有至关重要的作用,利用Feshbach共振技术调制原子之间的相互作用系数可以抑制凝聚体激发态的塌缩.另外,通过变分法计算得到了控制激发态塌缩的临界条件.
The stability of excited states for two-component Bose-Einstein Condensates(BECs)trapedin a shallow trap is investigated using the variational method.The results show that the atom interaction coefficient between BECs plays an important role in their stabilizing.The collapse of the excited state of the BECs can be suppressed by modulating the interaction coefficient between atoms using Feshbach resonance.In addition,the critical condition for controlling the collapse of the excited state is also obtained using the variational method for calculating.
