Simulation on Thermal and Mechanical Properties of Carbon Fiber/Epoxy Composites

摘要 为了降低碳纤维/树脂基体复合材料的生产和应用成本,采用模拟仿真技术研究了短切碳纤维与环氧树脂的复合体系。通过控制短切碳纤维的取向分布状态,碳纤维在环氧树脂基体中的平铺结构和交错结构两种状态进行仿真,研究了复合材料的力学和热学性能。研究发现,具有碳纤维平铺结构的复合材料呈现各向异性的特点,具有交错结构的复合材料在面内具有各向同性的特点。 In order to reduce the production and application cost of carbon fiber/epoxy composites,the composite system of short carbon fiber(CF)and epoxy resin was studied by simulation.The short carbon fibers were arranged into two states in EP matrix,which were aligned structure and crossed structure.The mechanical and thermal properties were studied in details.It is clearly observed that composites with aligned structure of CF exhibit anisotropic characteristics,and composites with crossed structure of CF shows isotropic characteristics in the in-plane.
