This paper discusses the significance and practical ways of carrying out scientific and technological innovation in higher vocational colleges from the perspective of supply-side reform.Higher vocational colleges should inject the concept of supply-side structural reform and serving the high-quality development of regional economy and society with scientific and technological innovation into the top-level design,closely connect with regional industrial clusters,actively integrate into the regional scientific and technological innovation system through in-depth cooperation between schools and enterprises,establish and improve the mechanism of technical accumulation and scientific and technological innovation,build a platform for collaborative innovation between the government,industries,schools and enterprises,and form a scientific and technological innovation team,developing technological innovation projects,promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements,and realizing the overall improvement of scientific and technological innovation ability.
